At the Campo Pequeno Bullring the bullfighting season runs from Easter through to October. A wonderful display of horsemanship and pageantry is given by Cavaleiros riding Lusitano horses into the bullring . Prancing horses incite the bulls to charge but mercifully the bulls are not killed.
